Gladiola Stems - SOLD
Gladiola Stems
Watercolor on 300 lb rough Arches paper
15" x 22"
Sold at $80.00 plus shipping.
Some gorgeous stems of gladiolas from the Farmer's Market, and have they ever lasted.
The advice I'm taking is to draw tight and paint loose, so this is not as exacting in execution as I normally would do. I do like it, it turned out soft and floaty. Thanks for looking.

I really like this! So delicate.
Your work is all so lovely. I have recently found your blog and have enjoyed it so much! In fact, I'd like to pass on a Creative Blogger award to you from my site, if you'd be willing to accept it!
Nel, I forgot to mention that the information about the award is found at my site!
I followed Helen Read's link over here to your site and I'm so glad I did! Your work is absolutely breathtaking! I am so blown away by it beauty and your technique! I've added your link to my Worth Visiting sidebar on my blog and will be back to enjoy your work regularly. Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage
Wow! I love the negative painting around / behind the squiggly edges of the flowers. This is masterfully done. On first glance it looks very controlled but on closer inspection the paint is loose and free. Sensational!
