Winter Greys
Oil on Wood Panel, 6" x 8"
SOLD at $20 plus $10 shipping.
Going for the soft, warm greys of winter; overcast skies and soft greys in the landscape.
I'm happy with the quiet mood of this little one.

Fire and Ice - NA
Fire and Ice
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 20"
Not Available, Repurposed on May 3, 2018
I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in my results. There are very few shapes here, except maybe the snow. The rest is line, line, line, and I thought it would be stunning, with the orange popping thru. And it took hours, with tiny brushes. I mean, it's lovely, but not stunning as I wanted. Hmmm. Goes to show, I guess.

The Yellows of Fall - SOLD
The Yellows of Fall
Oil on Wood Panel, 12" x 12"
SOLD
This is another revision of an old autumn piece. I thought I'd post it while I'm working on another winter scene, which wants me to take my time. Here is how it looked in its last iteration. I didn't change much, except to add some light.

Winter Sunset with Snow - SOLD
Oil on Wood Panel, 12" x 12"
SOLD at $45 plus $10 shipping.
A simple winter sunset with a reflecting stream and subtle colors.
The snowy landscapes continue. I'm not tired of them yet, but I'm certainly going through some white paint!

Snow Light - SOLD
Snow Light
Oil on Wood Panel, 16" x 16"
SOLD at $75 plus $15 shipping.
There's quiet here in this one.
But it's sunny as well, so not as desolate as the recent paintings. More crisp.
I like the hard contrast of the very dark trees against the white and light blue.
