I'm having fun with the palette knives. This painting never sold, done from April 18th, so I figured I'd play with it a little more, see if I could improve it. Changed the rocks, changed the background a little, changed the values some, and made it generally richer. And of course, a lot more texture. I'm starting to like the palette knife work. What do you think?
(Gallery wrapped, no frame needed. Tha painting extends all around, and yes, that got changed too.)

I think it turned an okay painting into a wowser, wowser painting. It's funny that the dabs from the knife made me wonder if I was looking at a photo for a minute! Such sparkle now rather than just a hohum day! I got here too late again!
