Peppers and Stripes
Oil on Canvas Board, 11" x 14"
SOLD at $85.00 plus shipping.
I am really pleased with how the peppers turned out on this one. They actually look transluscent in spots, which is what I was seeing, and then the nice little stripe reflections make them look shiny. The striped fabric is fun too, not just a boring backdrop. Thanks for looking.

This pepper painting and the "pepper polka" painting (try saying that quickly!) are just stunning — I'd love to see more in this series!
“ Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!”” (Matthew 20: 17-19) (Read by Max McLean. Welcome to my daily painting blog. Here I'll post my efforts to paint one small painting a day, with a little wiggle room by saying five per week. I work primarily in oils these days, but also love my watercolors. I hope you enjoy my work, and as always, your comments are welcome.
