Blue Pitcher and Peaches
12" x 12", watercolor on 300 lb paper
Sold at $40.00 plus shipping.
I bought gorgeous peaches at the Farmer's Market today, and bartered for this little pottery pitcher. The challenge here was to make the peaches look like peaches (with watercolors), and not oranges. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful, atmospheric still life. I also like the other paintings on your blog. You have a great ability to capture light and atmosphere. Keep up the good work!
Wow! Stunning painting!!
BEAUTIFULLY DONE, Nel!
This is so vibrant. Lovely work!
You have very nice work. I enjoyed looking at them.
Lydia
fantastic, love the mood and the intensity of the colors
Gorgeous colors, and I love the paper sitting under the peaches. Lovely painting. I'm sure someone will be very happy having it.
Congratulations on lovely peach painting. They look very velvety, something that is particularly hard to do. I, too have a deep blue ceramic thing I want to paint peaches with. The complementary colors you used really work. Perfect!
