There is a lovely creek that runs along The Devil's Backbone, a natural rock formation just outside of Marlinton, WV. The creek is variously called Beech Creek or Knapp's Creek. Maybe it's like some streets and changes its name as it meanders. Below are a couple of photos of the Devil's Backbone, truly impressive in person. It also has an interesting history.
