This one was interesting to paint, since I ran out of white paint half way thru, and had to do my lightening with a tube of pale blue grey. Thankfully I had the sky and the water done with the little bit of white I still had.

I wasn't so much interested in the strawberries, as I was in the lovely shadows they were casting.
I wanted to do this one "directly" without all the fussing and blending I usually do with still life. It's definitely painterly, as they say of this kind of work.
