This was a commission, but I wanted to post it anyway.
Done with palette knife. Didn't it turn out nicely?

Dear Nel,

I am enjoying browsing your beautiful paintings. I saw one I think on an older blog site of the pond at Brookside Gardens. It was of the path on the left (you made the comment tat you had worked to get the wood chips on the path right) and the green pond on the right of the canvas.
I have been looking for just this scene to give my older boys for Christmas- which I know is around the corner! Do you by any chance still have this painting or others of Brookside?

I don't have any paintings "in stock" of Brookside, but would be happy to paint one or two of the scene I think you are talking about. Was is from June 22, 2011?
