Lilies on Black
Oil on Loose Primed Canvas, 12" x 12"
SOLD at $35.00 plus $7.00 shipping
This one is painted with sketchiness, though usually I blend and smooth flowers. Not this one. I've left plenty of canvas around all the edges, so this one can be stretched to frame, or mounted. Thanks for looking.

this is the black i only like, with the wonderful lilies
Nel, what camera do you use to scan? I'm using a point and shoot digital, but the colors in the camera don't match the image. Do I need a camera comparable to the old SLR's? Thank you for answering, Betsy
Hi Betsy:
I have a fairly simple Canon Powershot G6, and it's not all that sophisticated. I just try to find a spot in the shade or indoors where the glare from the darks in the painting isn't too bad, and take several photos of each painting. Then I use the camera's photo editing software to adjust the darks and lights, and to balance the color. I'm really not all that knowledgable about what would be a good camera for you.
Sorry not to be more helpful.
Nel
