Red Delicious Apples
Oil on Linen Panel, 9" x 12"
SOLD at $45.00 plus $7.00 shipping.
Every once in awhile I treat myself to some linen. It is just so delicious to paint on, a completely different feel from cotton canvas. This is one of those splurge paintings. Didn't the apples turn out nicely?
Welcome to my daily painting blog. Here I'll post my efforts to paint one small painting a day, with a little wiggle room by saying five per week. I work primarily in oils these days, but also love my watercolors. I hope you enjoy my work, and as always, your comments are welcome.

Yes, the apples look great, but also the bowls and striped (stripes -yikes!) fabric is also good. Well done!
Really beautiful job on those apples! I love the yellow and green around the stems. And you are a master at stripes!
This is so cheerful and bright--I like it! The texture of the linen adds a lot too.
