I love Georgia O'Keefe's work, and such an interesting woman.
I do think that there's no better way to study a painter's work than taking the time to study it closely and copying. This one is among my favorites. Just studying closely how she blended her colors, all those sensual lines...yum.

I was just thinking about painting an oil painting of this very subject, Georgia O'Keefe's poppies. Nice job! I suppose I'll have to buy a glossy book of her work to get a good photograph to work from.
