In the pear bin this week were really round, fat pears and I picked the fattest, roundest pears they had. With this set up, I liked the blues in the shadows. Thanks for looking.

Delicious! I like the fat, misshapen ones for painting too. This is a lovely painting, almost like each pear has a personality of its own.
Hi, Nel--You have become an amazing painter. Your prices are absurdly low--can you show somewhere near you and charge what they are actually worth?
I just want to mention one little thing that bothers me a little when I read your blog, and that is the "Thanks for looking" at the end of each entry. It begins to get on my nerves...maybe you could just put it in sometimes? But it's a small thing--the important thing is how wonderful your paintings are.
