This is another completion from last fall's painting class. We had been painting at Butler's Orchard as a class when a beautiful greenish sky and a distant storm started blowing in. Good blustery wind and a rush to break down the gear. Once I had everything safely stowed in the car, I shot a few photos, and started a painting at home. It basically got completely overpainted today, and it's highly textured as a result. The lightness in the sky has a tinge of green to it. Don't you love the light of a good dramatic storm?
