Saturday, a lovely day, my cousin H. came out from DC, and we did errands and washed windows. (Come on now, we are Dutch!) One of our errands was to stop at the Farmer's Market, where I got these radishes. Not your typical grocery store radishes. Have you ever seen them long like this?

Aren't they cool?

This one was wonderfully complicated to paint, and again, really not much pure white paint, but a lot of mixes of lavender, blue, grey and green. Done from one of my old Massachusetts photos. I may be remembering wrong, but I think these grew in my yard.
