This one is revised from an earlier piece called Frosted Sunset. I added more orange, and used palette knife work to punch the darks and add more oomph to the trees. Better, I think.

With this one, I paid more attention to the shape of the cup and the flowers in the pattern.
I have some "gold" oil paint, so I used that on the trim. Fun stuff.

Although I haven't seen a lake, stream, pool, river or ocean this summer, right now I'm thinking water.
