Catching the Glow Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12" SOLD at $50.00 plus shipping. Detail Below. The bones of this one was a painting done last week, called "Partly Cloudy." NOW I'm pleased with it. It just took some careful palette knife re-working to harmonize it, and push and pull the values. The sky has a lot of lovely subtleties to it, which doesn't really show well in the photos. It's much richer now, too.

Hydrangeas in Pottery Pitcher Oil on Stretched Canvas, 14" x 18" SOLD at $80.00 plus shipping. This one was first posted on July 6, and I was surprised that it didn't sell, since the hydrangeas are generally very popular. But then I thought maybe it was the odd colored yellow green background, which was a bit different, and maybe not fresh looking. So I've repainted the background, and softened up some of the darks in the cloth. Better?
