Peony Watercolor - SOLD
Peony Watercolor
Watercolor on Paper, 12" x 15.25" image area
SOLD at $50.00 plus shipping.
A little detour back into watercolors. I have gracious permission from my art buddy, Carol to use some of her wonderful floral photos, and this was a delicate one to do. Some of the greys are tube greys, and some are mixed grey, but aren't they soft? Thanks for looking.

Available at $40.00 plus shipping.
Just one more little painting, and the plums will be eaten. My granddaughter, Alex, grabbed one this morning and reported that they are "really juicy." Thanks for looking, and may you enjoy a good, juicy plum at least once this summer.

Frosted Plums - SOLD
Frosted Plums
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 11" x 14"
SOLD at $65.00 plus shipping.
These frosty looking plums from the local grocery store looked so good, with their variety of color and sizes. They just called for more lavender, so I went with it. It will have to belong in a spot that likes purples. Thanks for looking.

I have a few photos that I had always intended to paint from, and this is from one of them. Wauwinet Road again, I imagine it looks pretty much like this right now, except fuller leaves. The photo was taken in the late spring this year. Isn't it tranquil? Thanks for looking.

Large Pink Peony - SOLD
Large Pink Peony
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 20"
SOLD at $100.00 plus shipping.
I adore florals. This one gave me some trouble though, just trying to get the drawing part correct, and the colors. (I had to wipe it all out once, and start the drawing over upside down.) I worked from one of Carol Holt's photos, a prolific member of my Online Art Yahoo group (all former students of Cathy Johnson) who graciously allowed me to borrow them. In the end, I'm happy with this one. Thanks for looking.
