Petunias Take One Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas, 8" x 8" x 1.25" Not available. Canvas was reused on July 25, 2010. I thought it would be so simple, but the color of the petunias completely eluded me. I have lovely oil colors in the mauves and purples, so I'm sure it was "operator error" and I'm determined to try these guys again, see if I can't get the colors and that velvety look closer. I've priced this one high (for me), despite the size, since it has a lot of detail and took me the best part of the day yesterday, with small breaks to move the sprinkler around the yard. It's done mostly with the "apply and leave" style, which I am enjoying right now. Doesn't it feel French in some way to you? Maybe it's the stripes...
