Pomegranates - SOLD

Pomegranates Oil on Canvas board, 10" x 10" Sold at $35.00 plus $5.00 shipping I've never done pomegranates before, and love their shapes. But I wanted to have the tops show, and also to try this look down view. I've hardly mastered it, but for a first try, not bad, I think. Thanks for looking.

What a delightful painting- those zingy citrus colors on that fresh aqua blue immediatly lifted my spirits. You handled this composition of pomegranates just beautifully.

I'm learning a LOT about color contrasts/choices from your paintings. You definitely got the "faceted" look that pomegranates have. I also like the vertical apples and the hint of a heart-shaped shadow... Might make a neat scriptural allegory, no?
