Amherst Autumn - SOLD

Amherst Autumn Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12" SOLD at $50.00 plus $10.00 shipping. No, I didn't take a trip to Amherst. My dear friend Barbara came down to Maryland to visit her daughter and family, and we were able to visit, and she brought me lovely photos that she'd taken this fall in Massachusetts. This one I'll also do in a 16" x 20" size, yum. Don't you like the little leaves on the water?

Sunset from the Dock

Sunset from the Dock Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12" Available at $50.00 plus shipping. Sometimes, when I have really busy days, it's nice to have some unsold paintings on hand to revise. Sometimes it's a background, sometimes more. This one was first posted in late July, and I did it from imagination, and it was perhaps not subtle enough, maybe too pastel. So I printed out one of the sunset photos from the beach house, and revised it this evening. (The horizon line is straight in the painting, I promise.)

Pears on Green Stripes - SOLD

Pears on Green Stripes - SOLD Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10" SOLD at $45.00 plus $7.00 shipping. Another version of the pears from yesterday, for a collector who missed the first one by mere minutes.

Rosy Pears on Green Stripes - SOLD

Rosy Pears on Green Stripes Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10" SOLD at $45.00 plus $7.00 shipping I like this one. It's actually yesterday's painting, but when I went to post it, I decided I wasn't completely happy with it, and did some "fixing" this morning. I had the folds and shadows way to dark. Feels better now.

Rock Creek Three - NA

Rock Creek Three Oil on Stretched Canvas, 18" x 18" Not available. This is the third and largest of the series of three paintings. I think I'm done with this image for awhile. I really like the water in this one, and the sense of shadow falling across the water. This has been a fine project and I can see doing the small, medium, large again sometime. Helps if you really like the photo reference. Each one you do makes the image more familiar, and you can wrestle with something you want to improve on each time.
