It was fairly late in the afternoon yesterday when I got out to paint, and I painted a little frantic. My usual system flew out of my head, and I was chasing the sunspots and the light on leaves before I even toned my canvas or blocked in my darks. Then I started to get chilly, and was having trouble with acorns falling behind me (it's a bear, it's a coyote!) So finished this today, and the photo was from another visit to the spot, at a different time of day, so hence the "hodge podge." Considering, though, not bad. Thanks for looking.
