It was too beautiful today not to go out painting for a little while. It didn't happen until later this afternoon, and how lovely, the shadows had lengthened nicely. I'm starting to "get it" on the reason for small paintings outdoors. Instead of taking the time to cover great spaces of canvas, you do small color notations with a "sketch" of sorts. This one may be a study for a larger one. I like the feeling of it. Thanks for looking.
