Small Plums

I tried not to handle these little plums too much, since I wanted to preserve as much of the frost or haze that you get with plums. It's my favorite part to paint. I didn't quite nail the color of the frost, but that just means I'll try again later. I hope your day is just "plum lucky." (What is it with plums in folk expressions?)

I don't know about why they show up so much in folk expressions. I've heard of ideas as being "plum ripe". These are gorgeous and so are your radishes.
