This is a larger painting, and I totally enjoyed doing it. I'm thinking about why I like doing "woods scenes" so much, and it occurred to me that a creek was the first plein air piece of artwork I ever did, back when I was in my teens. My parents framed it, and I think it's still floating around at one of my brother's homes. Maybe it's the sense of peace and stillness that I love, and I also love the dabbing, broken colors. Anyway, thanks for looking.
