The Bug Hunter
Oil on Canvas Board, 16" x 20"
SOLD at $100.00 plus shipping.
My grandson Jimmy and I went for a walk and I snapped this photo of him, my daughter's Nature Boy. He hunts bugs, and has a fancy zippered plastic and mesh container for them. Again, painting not so much the objects, as the way the light makes them look. I really like this one, especially the way the purples and blues work in it. Thanks for looking.

Hi Aunt Nelda. Another great painting! I always thought that painting people was extremely difficult. Pretty impressive. I've been surfing the "blogosphere" and came across a blog I thought you might enjoy. It's http://scrapiteria.blogspot.com/
and displays different artists interpretations of a weekly theme. I know that you're a painter, but I enjoyed looking at this! Cara
Nel, this is such a sweet, tender painting. I adore it.
