Iris in Lavender and Yellow
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12"
SOLD at $75.00 plus shipping.
I like working on stretched canvas, and I love the square format, so this one was just plain fun to paint. I think it's a good combination of swish and definition. Thanks for looking, and I hope you are all having a good weekend and avoiding the flu that's going about.

Wowee! This is one of my all time favorites. I love the color and movement! By the way, I had to look up "keep swimming dory" in your previous message to me and was delighted to see what it was all about. I did see that movie but forgot the name dory!
Welcome to my daily painting blog. Here I'll post my efforts to paint one small painting a day, with a little wiggle room by saying five per week. I work primarily in oils these days, but also love my watercolors. I hope you enjoy my work, and as always, your comments are welcome.

Real fine. I think the larger image relative to the format size really gives this colorful flower a presence that is hard to ignore.
