Eggs in Glass Bowl - SOLD

Eggs in Glass Bowl Oil on Canvas board, 8" x 8" Sold at $60.00 plus shipping. I've seen this done before, and in general, I admire photo-realism for how exacting it is. I've copied the idea from other artists, but the eggs are from my daughter's fridge. I wanted to see how it could be done, and I think if I did something like this again, I'd know better how to approach it. It's actually kind of fun, using small brushes and blending very carefully. You don't have a choice but to take your time, and I really could have kept going on this. Thanks for looking.

Hilltop View- NA

Hilltop View Oil on Canvas board, Plein Air Painting 9" x 12" Not available, painted over. I had noticed a beautiful hillside farm on the way to soccer practice for my granddaughter, and today stopped and asked if I could drive to the top of the hill and paint. What a view of the valley from on top of the hill. But I decided to paint the view looking up, and face away from both the lowering sun and the wind. A beautiful afternoon to be out painting. Fallen Leaves - SOLD

Fallen Leaves Watercolor on 300 pound Arches paper 12" x 14" Sold at $35.00 plus shipping. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile, and got around to it today. Pretty much all that was left of color was a few maple leaves in faded yellows, and the rich browns of oak leaves. I did find one leaf on the lawn that still had a bit of yellow-green in it; I like the small touch of green. Thanks for looking.

Because this canvas is larger (than yesterday's canvas), I was able to include more detail. I also changed the sky from yesterday's version. View from the Bridge - SOLD

This is a neat view from the bridge which connects Barre with South Barre, the locals would know it by how long it was closed for construction. I loved the way the light was skimming just the top half of the trees, and the wonderful yellow orange reflection from one tree in the back. Thanks for looking.
