Edgy Peppers - SOLD

Edgy Peppers
10" x 10", Oil on Canvas board
SOLD.

I miss daylight. Come 4:00 in the afternoon, the sky is already getting darker. I can see that I'm going to have to set up some kind of an indoor photo shooting box or something. Taking photos inside just doesn't work with all the cross lighting. Needs some research. Thanks for looking.

I like the title as much as the painting! I know what you mean about confusing lighting. That's why I made my little stage (a cardboard box with the front and the top removed and a floodlight pointing in) works really well for working from life and pretty good for photographing it. If you use a lightbox/softbox you end up with soft diffuse lighting and no obvious source of light or shadows (nice for product shots but not so nice for still life in my opinion).

WOW, Nel. I'm not big on still life, but this is just gorgeous.
