I have my "reject paintings" hanging around the apartment, and sometimes one of them will grab my attention for revisions. This one had good enough bones, just needed some lightening and brightening. When everything was said and done last evening and this morning, I probably touched up most of it, and I think it's very rich now.

This is beautiful and very inviting! I love the purple dappled shadows on the path.
