It always take a while to "get back into the groove" with painting outdoors. This one could have a lot more structure, but I was so excited about being "out" painting that I wasn't paying close attention to the painting, if you get my drift. I intend to try this view again, as it's very handy, just outside my window. This tree was in my snow paintings too.
