Up Close Hydrangea 2 - SOLD

Up Close Hydrangea 2 Oil on Stretched Canvas, 18" x 18" SOLD. Another large piece, same colors and idea as yesterday, but it has a slightly different flavor to it. Less drama, perhaps, more soft and airy. They would actually make a nice set.

Up Close and Personal Hydrangea - SOLD

Up Close and Personal Hydrangea Oil on Stretched Canvas, 18" x 18" SOLD at $105.00 plus shipping. Isn't this one neat? Before I had the digital camera I have now, I had a beautiful Nikon, but I felt too guilty to keep it (very expensive), so I traded it in for my Canon at half the price. But I did take a few photos with it, and some of them were close ups of hygrangeas. This is from one of those photos.

Hydrangeas In the Pink - SOLD

Hydrangeas in the Pink Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10" SOLD at $45.00 plus shipping. Today I was actually trying for a new way to paint these guys, but it didn't work out very well. I really want to find another way to do them besides the dots and dabs I've been using, but today it didn't happen.

Wedding Hydrangeas - SOLD

Wedding Hydrangeas Oil on Stretched Canvas, 18" x 18" SOLD The photo on this one is taken in evening bulb light, so it isn't as crisp and true as daylight photos. But it is intended as a wedding gift from a collector to a couple who loves hydrangeas.

Those First Few Drops - SOLD

Those First Few Drops Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10" SOLD at $45.00 plus shipping. I didn't mean for it to happen when I started, but the sky got rainy and I went with it. You can almost smell the ozone. The move is still ongoing, (my grey mood maybe?) more trips back to the old place, boxes everywhere in the new place, oh, la. Kids running around, U-Haul got stuck in the mud when the guys tried to save some steps and drove it into the grass. What a mess. I got settled enough to paint though, so we are getting back on track. I think I'll add a few dots of white in the water to represent those "first few drops."
