A larger painting today, and I experimented with being "painterly" and used a bristle brush instead of my usual softer brushes. It had a nice feel to it, but I think I need to work on the difference between having it look "loose" and painting "loose." Isn't that a Richard Schmid saying? Loose is how it should look, not how it is painted.
