I get a lot of comments about how colorful my paintings are, and I wanted to try something with more subdued colors today. Just a touch of color here and there. This one has a lot of white mixed in it. Very simple subject, just a field with some trees. I was trying more for the subtle color and the mood of misty, wet air and breaking clouds.
