You know how people say "Oh, he's out back," when someone is in the backyard? I didn't know what to paint today, so I simply opened the studio door, and painted what is out back, taking some liberties with the landscape. Even overcast, the colors are lovely right now. Thanks for looking.

This is wonderful! I saw from JanaB that you are helping her along. I'm flailing away myself! (And don't have her watercolor skills, either). I must ask... do you REALLY paint a painting a day? This looks substantial and not alla prima... (I liked the carnations (both), too. Are THEY alla prima? Or did you lay down the black background first? I'll be back!
