What odd weather, January and 70 degress today. A small group went to Lake Needwood and did some plein air painting this afternoon, and it felt great to be out in the sunshine. I was most interested in the light shining through the trees, and me without a visor hat today. Kept having to shade my eyes to see what I was painting. Winter colors are so beautiful. Thanks for looking.

I just wanted to say how crazy I am about your paintings, both oil and watercolor. You are amazing and you make it all look effortless. I would love to learn how to oil paint from you! Do you teach? Looking at your work has inspired me to use oils in a totally different way than I thought I would want to. Congratulations on doing so well with your sales. I noticed most of your daily paintings were sold.
