Happy yellow sunflowers, I am getting more comfortable with these sunny faces. The feel comes back. My actual sunflower models have deep yellow petals, so that shows up as well.

I'm gearing up for a large sunflower painting, and have found some sunflowers in the grocery store, though they have yellow centers, and I like the brown better.  But I am reminding myself how to paint them before I "go" on a large piece.

I changed the background, and added more color to the rocks, changed the shapes of some of them. Deepened the color of the water, you know, this and that. I think it's a happier and richer piece now.
