I don't know why, but take away my stripes or polka dots, and I find drapery very hard to get right-looking. I struggled with this one today.

Isn't this one neat? Before I had the digital camera I have now, I had a beautiful Nikon, but I felt too guilty to keep it (very expensive), so I traded it in for my Canon at half the price. But I did take a few photos with it, and some of them were close ups of hygrangeas. This is from one of those photos.

Today I was actually trying for a new way to paint these guys, but it didn't work out very well. I really want to find another way to do them besides the dots and dabs I've been using, but today it didn't happen.
