Peaches Lined Up Oil on Stretched Canvas, 8" x 16"
SOLD at $60.00 plus shipping.
These guys were harder than I thought they'd be. All those colors, frosty mauves, bright yellows, oranges, reds, deep red-purples, tricky.

Just Peachy 2
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12"
SOLD as replacement painting.
My friend sold her painting, Just Peachy, to someone else, and asked me to make a replacement painting. I tried to come as close as I could to her original, and this is what came out of it. Hope you're happy with it, D!
Agricultural Park
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10"
SOLD at $40.00 plus $5.00 shipping.
It was so beautiful today in Maryland, that I hooked up with some of the Montgomery County Plein Air folks, and ventured out to our lovely agricultural park. I didn't last for more than 3 hours though, cold ears from the wind, glare on my canvas (from insisting on being in the sun) and chilly hands. I liked the dapples on this little shed.
Peony Tweaked
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 16"
SOLD at $75.00 plus shipping.
I always liked this one (Peony Bud Opening), and figured maybe I could tweak it up a bit and change the background color, and offer it again. I think the blue is better (it used to be green in the background.)
November Pansies
Amherst Autumn Two
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 20"
SOLD at $115.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
This one is pretty big, and was intended as yesterday's post, but it just didn't seem to want to be finished, so I worked on it some more today. It's a lot of canvas to cover lovingly and I'm quite pleased with the results.
Amherst Autumn
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12"
SOLD at $50.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
No, I didn't take a trip to Amherst. My dear friend Barbara came down to Maryland to visit her daughter and family, and we were able to visit, and she brought me lovely photos that she'd taken this fall in Massachusetts. This one I'll also do in a 16" x 20" size, yum. Don't you like the little leaves on the water?
Rosy Pears on Green Stripes
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10"
SOLD at $45.00 plus $7.00 shipping
I like this one. It's actually yesterday's painting, but when I went to post it, I decided I wasn't completely happy with it, and did some "fixing" this morning.
I had the folds and shadows way to dark. Feels better now.
Rock Creek Three
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 18" x 18"
Not available.
This is the third and largest of the series of three paintings. I think I'm done with this image for awhile. I really like the water in this one, and the sense of shadow falling across the water. This has been a fine project and I can see doing the small, medium, large again sometime. Helps if you really like the photo reference. Each one you do makes the image more familiar, and you can wrestle with something you want to improve on each time.
Backyard Autumn
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 18" x 24"
SOLD at $100.00, plus $15.00 shipping.
Yup, this really is what my backyard looks like right now. I'm not sure what kind of trees they are, not maples, but they turn this bright light yellow in the sun, which is just gorgeous. I took two days on this one, including some time with the canvas outside, even though it's pretty big.
