Makes me feel a little like Georgia, well, just kidding. But it is fun once in awhile. The red ones are harder, since most of my red colors are somewhat transparent, and it takes a lot of blending to get it all looking right. Thanks for looking!

Plaza has a wonderful sale on canvas going on right now, so I was able to treat myself to a couple of stretched linen canvases, mmmm. I'm not great at architectural things, but I think this one turned out nicely.

This one is big, and gallery wrapped, so no frame is required. I have a photo I took of Massachusetts peonies, very subtle colors, and have been meaning to use it for awhile now. The soft changes in value were tricky here. Two days in the painting, it feels good to post this one now.

When everything was said and done last evening and this morning, I probably touched up most of it, and I think it's very rich now.

This latest batch of sunflowers is now starting to get droopy, so I think this will be the last sunflower painting for awhile. My florals aren't done though. I have discovered that they sell pansies in the fall. I guess it's a hardy variety that loves the cooler air. Only $4.00 a pot at Home Depot, yippee! Some pansy paintings next.
