I've copied the idea from other artists, but the eggs are from my daughter's fridge. Hilltop View- NA

Hilltop View Oil on Canvas board, Plein Air Painting 9" x 12" Not available, painted over. I had noticed a beautiful hillside farm on the way to soccer practice for my granddaughter, and today stopped and asked if I could drive to the top of the hill and paint. What a view of the valley from on top of the hill. But I decided to paint the view looking up, and face away from both the lowering sun and the wind. A beautiful afternoon to be out painting. Pretty much all that was left of color was a few maple leaves in faded yellows, and the rich browns of oak leaves. This is a neat view from the bridge which connects Barre with South Barre, the locals would know it by how long it was closed for construction.
