Oil on Stretched Black Gessoed Canvas, 12" x 12"

Michael's has black gessoed canvas available right now, and I thought I'd play with this size, see what I could come up with. It was easier to cover than I expected. This is sort of an indoor out painting. I sat outside for awhile, memorizing what I was seeing, then came back in and painted, then back out again....
