Although I worked from an old photo from Massachusetts, there are a few of these golden guys hanging on to the trees outside my Maryland apartment. I love it when the sun catches them, and become so grateful for their touches of color against all the subtle winter shades.

So nice, these gold leaves, for a very beautiful snowy landscape... ;)
