Inviting Path Two - SOLD

Inviting Path Two Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12" SOLD at $65.00 plus shipping. One of my regular collectors wanted the painting from day before yesterday, and so I painted the same thing again. Acceptance of a redo is always optional, so if you're interested in this one, send an email. Nel http://nelseverydaypainting.blogspot.com/

Lovely Tree - NA

Lovely Tree Oil on Stretched Canvas, 8" x 10" Not available, Gifted. I am posting this one again, since my membership to the DP Gallery had expired (oops!) when I last posted it, so it had limited exposure. Isn't this one lovely? Nel http://nelseverydaypainting.blogspot.com/

Inviting Path - SOLD

Inviting Path Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12" SOLD at $65.00 plus shipping. Detail Below. This one is another version with the same photo reference I used on Tuesday, but in a square format. I like this one too! It's a combination technique with a brush underpainting, and then palette knife over top. That seems to be my new technique for landscapes. I DO really like the control and the fresh colors that you can get using a knife, though it does take a long time to finish. Nel http://nelseverydaypainting.blogspot.com/

Varigated Lilac Pansy - SOLD

Varigated Lilac Pansy
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 8" x 8"
SOLD at $35.00 plus $5.00 shipping

Another of the pansies, while they are still blooming, though they are getting "leggy." And of course, as long as they are still selling, grin. (It does figure into my painting decisions.) Nel http://nelseverydaypainting.blogspot.com/

Lace in the Treetops - SOLD

Lace in the Treetops Oil on Stretched Linen, 11" x 14" SOLD at $65.00 plus shipping. This one is really nice. I started it with brushes, and concentrated on getting some good mid tones, which I have some trouble with, and then switched over to palette knives. I also tried to work a little faster than I do normally with the knife, and consequently, got some real loose, swirly strokes. These might also be my favorite colors for a landscape, the softer mauves and lavenders with greens. Thanks for looking! Nel http://nelseverydaypainting.blogspot.com/

Burnt Orange Pansies - SOLD

Burnt Orange Pansies Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas, 8" x 8" x 1.5" SOLD at $40.00 plus shipping. You know that pansy color? It's an orangey-browny-maroony color that is just so enticing to try to paint. This is one of those paintings that's so much better in person, the subtleties are lost in the photography here. The pansies wrap around top, sides and bottom, so no frame is needed. Nel http://nelseverydaypainting.blogspot.com/
