Pocket Lemons 2, Oil on Stretched Canvas, 6" x 6", SOLD
Pocket Lemons 3, Oil on Stretched Canvas, 6" x 6", SOLD
The tiny lemon painting yesterday was popular, so I did two more for people who had asked to buy the first one. They never turn out exactly alike, and goodness knows, that would be pretty boring, replicating as close as possible the same painting. However, you are never guaranteed the exact same "something" that attracted someone in the first place. You hope, but sometimes it just doesn't. In this case, it was fine, both collectors wanted the new pieces. And as one of them said, (loosely quoted) "You can never have enough lemons, to remind you to make lemonade out of what life serves up!" (good quote, M.)
All of these lemon pieces have such a wonderful feeling to them. Lovely.
