Magnolia Grouping
Oil on Cradled Board, 12" x 12"
SOLDat $60.00 plus shipping.
This one is a practice painting for a set of magnolias that I'll be doing this summer. When I say that you have to paint a painting before you can paint a painting, this is the sort of thing I mean. My mind can't remember from time to time how to paint something, so I have to do it, before I can do it. Practice. This is one of the cradled boards, but I haven't painted the edges yet, and I may do them in a solid color, I'm not sure. The buyer can have input on the gallery edges, whether to continue the floral or have it solid color, no framing needed.
Ahhhhh... that reminds me of what my great-grandmother always said about painting: "Before you can paint your interpretation, you have to know you can make it look like the real thing." (paraphrased, of course!)THANK YOU for the Bible verse for today!
