Another of my fake flower paintings. I liked the silk rose because of it's color variations, that almost orange magenta color at the inside.
Nel, I love the rose! The colors seem to show up better on your blog than on the e mail. The shadow areas are lovely and make the petals stand out nicely. Great news about your work being "shown" in the Blick brochure. I read all the catalogs and brochures from cover to cover, so I will look forward to receiving the one with your painting.
