In connection with my upcoming classes in Beginner Oils, I am doing some value studies in one or two colors. This one was done with two colors plus white: Burnt Umber and Terra Rosa. The reddish tones are from the Terra Rosa paint. Doesn't it look like a tinted photo? I thought someone might think it was cool.

I really like your monochrome pears. They look a bit like nude figure studies.
