Rain and sleet today in New England, so I stayed inside and did a study from photos of the beaver pond, with the little white boat that didn't get into the painting yesterday. While you miss the directness of painting outdoors (and I freely admit that I've a long ways to go before I'm a real plein air artist), you can take your time in the studio, and no wind to blow your easel over. Thanks for looking, and I join you in a respectful good bye to Kurt Vonnegut today.
