The End of the Daffodils - SOLD

Daffs, April 22
Watercolor and Gouache on 300 lb Arches Paper, 11.25" x 15.25"
SOLD at $40 plus $10 shipping.

This one involves a splashy under-painting, all loose with splatters, salt sprinkles, and Saran Wrap. After that was dry, I did my drawing with the last of the lovlies, and today they are pretty much wilted. One was left unshriveled for me to use as a model. Now they will sit on the back porch table, waiting for a warm enough day for me to plant them in the garden, hoping they will come back next year. If not, I've certainly had my $7.00 worth of beauty and inspiration from them.

Loose Daffodils - SOLD

Loose Daffodils
Watercolor on Heavy Arches Watercolor Paper, 15" x 11"
SOLD at $35 plus $10 shipping

This one is a tiny, tiny bit closer to the way I would LIKE to paint watercolors...loose, sketchy, confident. Like Jean Haines! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UazOcJxkgs

Hmmm, still have a ways to go. But I did get the "impression" of jonquils, so that feels like progress. I'll keep plugging along. Thanks for looking!

Reclamation Art Cards - SOLD

A set of watercolor cards, most of which have been cut out from failed larger watercolor paintings. Even if the paintings don't "work," I save them for useful scraps, and this is the sort of reclaiming I really like to do.

Several are also experimental, splashy, sketchy cards that sort of "work," for the most part.
Good enough for a quick note, anyway.

Set of 10 assorted cards, blank inside, with envelopes in cello wrappers
SOLD at $30 plus $8.00 Flat Rate shipping.

Please send an email if you are interested in claiming these, which will make you a claimer of the reclaimed, LOL. Hope you are all enjoying sunshine and good weekends!
