The hydrangeas I saved from my brother's yard, and they have the smallest tinge of mauve still in them. For this one I used a bamboo pen with walnut ink, with touches of watercolor.

I am taking a space to rethink my painting style and strategy. So few of the winter paintings have sold, that I have to wonder what I am doing wrong, besides boring myself and my collectors. Hmmm, time to think about a new direction maybe. Meanwhile, some "other" kinds of sketches and paintings.
